MAASIN CITY, Southern Leyte (Philippines)---Photographing people--especially women--requires mastery, agility, and an eye for detail.
More than that, it requires a "heart"— to get both permission and utmost trust from one's subject.
This aptly defines the craft of Menelio “Jham” Hatayna, a professional artist and photographer from this city.

Jham is a pioneering member of MANTSA or Maasinhong Abilidad Nagkahiusa Tumong sa Arte, a former OFW, and an honorary member of Overseas Pinoy Professional Photographers Society(OPPPS) and Guhit Pinoy based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Jham other favorites are outdoor/indoor, landscape and event-photography. He is a licensed civil engineer and happily married to Sheila Salar-Hatayna of Maasin city.
Today, Jham is sharing his expertise thru workshops and funshoot sessions with the men and women from Maasin City Photography Club (MCPC), which he also founded together with another professional lens man in the city Eduard Daling.
